What’s better than watching Tomb Raider - becoming one!

Leading up to Tomb Raider’s release, we took every ad promoting the film and turned it into a challenge. With Lara’s help, each challenge took players closer to finding a tomb and the treasure inside — an adventure holiday in Cape Town. So, not only did players get to know the new Lara Croft, they got to walk in her shoes.

We invited audiences to unearth puzzling enigmas across outdoor, press and digital. Only by solving each challenge will they reveal the location of the hidden tomb and the riches inside.

The campaign hub

Designed with the Nostalgia and feel of a 1990s video game, the site allows users to explore Laura's ‘desk’ to look for more clues and enter the clues that they have found.
